World’s Ugliest Dog Contest 2018: See How an English Bulldog That Get the Crown Looked Like (Sorry, Pictures are Not-So-Pretty But Still Cute)
Fourteen odd-looking canines put their best face forward in a bid to win the World’s Ugliest Dog title. See not-so-pretty pictures that have already gone viral.
Who let the (ugly) dogs out?
A bulldog named Zsa Zsa with an absurdly long tongue won the World’s Ugliest Dog contest. The 9-year-old winner was found via a pet-finding site by owner Megan Brainard of Minnesota in the US, according to a biography supplied for the contest.

Brainard will receive $US1500 for Zsa Zsa’s victory.
The competition saw 14 canines compete for prize money of $1,500 (£1,130), including Himisaboo, a Chinese crested wiener dog mix, seen here with his owner Heather Wilson.

While the competition highlights unattractive pooches, organizers say it is actually a celebration of the dogs, many of whom were rescued from shelters or puppy farms. Here is Wild Thang, a Pekingese, who was a strong contender.

Tee Tee, a Chinese crested, was also among the competitors. The annual event is intended to promote pet adoption.

Rascal Deux, a Chinese crested, channeled his inner John Lennon, but it was not enough to win the contest.
