Was called Captain Marvel
Shazam was originally called Captain Marvel when the comics about him was released in 1939. However, the original name ended up being trademarked by Marvel Comics in 1967.
Shazam’s name was an acronym derived from the six immortal elders who grant Captain Marvel his superpowers: Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury.
Character’s alter ego
Shazam’s alter ego is Billy Batson, a teenage orphan, who shouts the name of the old wizard Shazam, gets struck by lightning and can get transformed into a costumed adult with the powers of strength, speed, flight, and more.

Elvis Presley was a fan of Captain Marvel
One of the most famous fans of Shazam was Elvis Presley. He even created some of his stage jumpsuits basing on superhero’s costume.
Moreover, his “Taking Care of Business” logo is a reference to Shazam’s lightning.
Arguments with Superman and Wonder Woman
Shazam and Superman even had an arm wrestling competition, however, they call it a draw.
Also, Cap and Wonder Woman were able to destroy a universe while fighting each other.
