MacDonald pretended to describe not only bright sides of Whitney’s life, but also the darkest shades of it. okey, it happened when Whitney was a kid and her mom Cissy was on tour. Houston was molested by her aunt, Dee-Dee Warwick, sister of soul legend Dionne. This shocking revelation is shown to be the reason for the struggles the singer faced throughout her life (drug-addiction and Houston’s status of a gay woman). But, most exciting is that both Gary and her aunt Mary actually reveal who it was: Dee Dee Warwick, Whitney’s own cousin and sister to Dionne Warwick.
What’s about Robyn Crawford?

Whitney was often asked about her close friendship with her beautiful childhood friend Robyn Crawford. The answer was suggested in Broomfield’s film that she was the real love of Whitney’s life. However, this film just skates over the whole issue of Robyn’s existence. Crawford declined to be interviewed and she is absent in the film. But there can be no doubt that she was one of the most important people in Houston’s life.
