What’s Up, Elon Musk: Silicon Valley Party, Zuma Mission and Tesla Supercharger

Jan. 6-12 week was especially busy for our beloved entrepreneur Elon Musk.

Nexter tells about the most interesting things happened with Elon during the last seven days.

Elon Musk and sex party

Thinking that being a billionaire means unlimited parties, girls, drugs and luxury cars? Hell, no. It’s all about “technology and building companies”, no time for fun.

Here’s what we’re talking about.

In an extract from her forthcoming book “Brotopia” about the culture of the tech industry, journalist Emily Chang detailed a June 2017 party at a venture capitalist’s house that allegedly saw drug-taking and open sexual behavior.

Elon Musk confirmed that he had attended a now notorious event at a Silicon Valley investor’s home that has been described as a “sex party”. But don’t hurry to judge. Elon Musk is a good boy and left at 1 a.m. before something lurid happened.

It’s hard to say should he regret or to be proud he did it.

Moreover, Elon said he believed it was a “corporate” costume-themed party and spent his time there talking about technology and business.

Zuma mission

Zuma mission is full of mysteries. A failed launch of SpaceX project Zuma has lead to the missing of most classified US spy satellite.

As SpaceX representer, James Gleeson, told BI, “We do not comment on missions of this nature, but as of right now reviews of the data indicate Falcon 9 performed nominally.”

Firstly, it was just a rumor that Zuma fell back and burnt in the Earth’s atmosphere, but, then, Wall Street Journal confirmed it.

The company started an investigation right after the incident, but at the moment there is no indication of “sabotage” or any other reason for failure.

According to Bloomberg, Zuma hasn’t been launched successfully because of “the second-stage booster section of the Falcon 9 failed”.

Zuma was lost and burned up in the atmosphere or just fell into the ocean. It might occur when the satellite is released at the wrong time or is damaged.

The largest Tesla Supercharger stations

Tesla is opening up two of its largest-ever Supercharger stations in California. The two new stations will serve heavily traveled routes between San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.

The company also unveiled its biggest supercharger station with solar rooftops. There is also a café, two hotels and an auto-repair shop. This station also has enough space to accommodate Tesla’s semi truck. Check out how it looks:
