According to Pornhub, searches for “Tesla” on the site started climbing at the beginning of May when the video began circulating. But then the searches spiked on May 9 and May 10 following some tweets from Musk on the video.

Overall, Pornhub projects more than 3 million searches for “Tesla” between the video’s upload date on April 30th and the end of the day Friday, May 10.

Elon Musk will go to trial for calling British rescue diver a ‘pedo guy’

According to court documents filed on Friday, a judge is allowing the defamation lawsuit filed by British cave diver Vernon Unsworth against Musk to proceed to trial. Unsworth sued the Tesla CEO after Musk referred to the diver as a “pedo guy” in a tweet.

Musk engaged in a public spat over the rescue of a Thai boys soccer team that was trapped in a cave last summer. Musk was upset that the professional cave diver knocked his plan to rescue the soccer team via a specialized submarine as “a PR stunt” that “had absolutely no chance of working.”

“Never saw this British expat guy who lives in Thailand (sus) at any point when we were in the caves,” wrote Musk in a now-deleted series of tweets. “We will make one of the mini-sub/pod going all the way to Cave 5 no problemo. Sorry pedo guy, you really did ask for it.”

“Bet ya a signed dollar its true,” he added in a reply to his claim.

Musk later apologized for his words and said they were “spoken in anger.”

Elon Musk just tweeted out a first look at the 60 satellites that are part of a bold plan to make high-speed internet access available around the world.

The Starlink satellites, as they’re called, are part of Musk’s plans to build an unprecedented network of internet-providing spacecraft.

Musk first announced the idea in 2015 and aims to build up a fleet of nearly 12,000 satellites. SpaceX has been ramping up fundraising in preparation for that and another high-profile project.

The launch of Falcon 9 rocket

On Thursday evening, SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket … again. But on this rocket’s third launch, it is just the master of ceremonies, not the star of the show.

If all goes according to plan, at one hour and two minutes after takeoff from a Florida launchpad in the United States, SpaceX’s 60 Starlink satellites will self-deploy and start their journeys to their eventual orbit around the earth. The rocket had been scheduled to lift off on Wednesday but the launch was postponed due to high winds.
