What’s up, Elon Musk: AI, Puerto Rico’s solar power and More


Elon Musk regularly pleases his Instagram and Twitter followers with cool news and great updates. Nexter sums up what you might miss this week October 23-30.


1.   AI to destroy us all

During the business event in Riyadh Woman-looking humanoid robot Sophia was announced the citizenship.

When she was asked about AI concerns she responded that “You’ve been reading too much Elon Musk. Don’t worry, if you’re nice to me, I’ll be nice to you.” Sophia added – “Treat me as a smart input-output system.”

Of course, Musk couldn’t ignore it.

“Just feed it the Godfather movies as input,” he wrote on Twitter. “What’s the worst that could happen?”

Elon frequently warning against the existential threat AI to humanity. He even had an argument with Mark Zuckerberg and claimed Mark’s understanding of AI is too “limited” to state that doomsday scenarios are drummed up.

2.  Puerto Rico’s solar power

Elon Musk’s Tesla delivered solar power to Puerto Rico children’s hospital after the hurricane left it in dark.

Musk announced it’s just a beginning of many solar battery projects in Puerto Rico.

3.   LA tunnel first picture

First photo of The Boring Company LA tunnel already published. This tunnel is expected to rid Los Angeles of “soul-destroying” traffic. Lately, he added that it should be 2 miles long in three or four months.
