The video of Six13 performing Queen’ Bohemian Rhapsody-like song “Bohemian Chanukah” has gained almost 1 million views.

“Is this the eighth night/ We light with family?/ Recall with great pride/ Our escape from Greek tyranny? Kindle the lights/ Remember the Maccabees/ How did those five boys/ Lead us to victory?”

A Jewish Africa parody by Shir Soul

In 2018, Shir Soul released a parody for its Hanukkah video called A Jewish Africa parody, which was inspired by a famous song “Africa” by Toto.

The text is devoted to Hanukkah and reads “I bless the candles in my menorah. I bless the candles’ light on Hanukkah/ I bless the rains down in Africa/ I bless the man who made this sufganiya.”

Actress Mayim Bialik that starts in Big Bang Theory uploaded video of her teaching you to make the best latkes just in time for Hanukkah 2018.

Don’t Stop Me Now: A Queen Hanukkah

Y-Studs also are the fans of Queen, so it’s no wonder they released a beautiful Hanukkah-themed cover of “Don’t Stop Me Now,” “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions.” Three best songs of Queen, isn’t it amazing?

Obviously, they also changed lyrics to more Hanukkah-like content:  “Ohh it’s Hanukkah, We’ll celebrate tonight/ Light the candles, surrounded by friends and my family/ Everybody’s getting hungry when I am flipping a latke/ I’m gonna go, go, go/ Yeah, we’re gonna feast.”

The video was watched more than 14 million times. Though it was released almost 8 years ago, it’s still a lot of fun to rewatch once again.

The song is based on Mike Tompkins’ a cappella version of Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite”.
