Nowadays, we spend almost all day staring at the screens of our computers and smartphones. We work there and we spend our free time there, watching TV shows and playing games. Therefore, our eyesight deteriorates.

The 20/20/20 exercise

When you stare at your bright computer screen for too long, your eyes dry out and  get tired quickly. This exercise will help you get rid of the discomfort of the diseased eyes.
20-20-20 means that you need to take a break from work every 20 minutes and look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
Palming

This is an amazing thing for your optic nerve and it is very simple. Just turn off the lights, put your elbows on the table, make sure your palms are warm and put them over your eyes. Breathe deep. Do it for 5 minutes.
Blinking

Sit or stand upright, slowly blink 10-15 times per minute. Do it for 2 minutes.
Circle eye movement

When you are annoyed, you can roll your eyes. But if you do this exercise correctly, it will do you good. So, slowly move your eyes in a circle from right to left and vice versa. Repeat this exercise 5 times.
Side-to-side eye movement

We look to the right and to the left all the time, usually turning our heads more than it is needed and not using the eyes properly.
During this exercise, you can stand or sit. Look to the right and hold your eyes for 5-10 seconds. Then – on the left. After that, look straight for 2 seconds. Repeat this exercise 5 times.
Up and down eye movement
Now your main task is to look up, and then look down, do it slowly and focus on what you see. Repeat it 5 times.
Near and far focus

Focus on a pencil. It should be at a distance of about 10 feet away from your eyes. Then look at some distant object. Focus on it and try to see every detail. Then look at the pencil again. Repeat this 3 times.
