Recently, the graduate has filled the lawsuit for $1,4M and accused Oxford of negligence in conducting the classes and the whole teaching process.

1. Oxford, $1,4M lawsuit

Faiz Siddiqui, a graduate with 2:1 degree, has stated that Oxford’s staff is responsible for his failure to get a top degree.

In the High court, Siddiqui didn’t like the classes of modern history course as the teacher has missed the majority of the lessons. Moreover, the examiners were not aware of the medical state (clinical depression and insomnia) of Siddiqui as they were not provided with this information before the exams.

2. Harvard, Sexual Harassment

Alyssa R. Leader stated that Harvard administration mishandled her case on sexual harassment, allowing the accused student “John Doe 1” to live with her in Cabot House.

John Doe 1 intimidated and harassed A. Leader. Due to the university policy, Harvard administrators was to take appropriate measures and protect Leader from abusive treatment.

John Doe 1 wasn’t removed from Cabot until Leader provided a restraining order from an outside court.

3. Stanford, Sex Assaults

At a student’s party at Stanford University, a drunken freshman raped an unconscious girl. The jury unanimously found him guilty, but the judge sentenced him to only six months in prison.

Turner was threatened by 14 years imprisonment, but the judge decided that six months of imprisonment with a probationary period and lifelong registration in the public register of sexual offenders would be enough for a young man.

The soft verdict caused a great deal of scandals. According to the law of the State of California, people should not be assigned less than two years of imprisonment for crimes of this type.
