The U.S. is a wonderful country full of different cultures and traditions. But the funniest thing about all 50 states is a multitude of weird and funny laws. Check out the list of craziest rules from 8 states!

PART 1

Alaska and mooses

If you kill any big game animal, for instance, moose, the authorities of the state don’t care why you’ve done it, but you will have to at least try to salvage the meat so people can eat it.

So, it’s high time to get new skills.

Arkansas and horns

Tired of teenagers racing around on cars? Then you’ll like this rule, “No person shall sound the horn on a vehicle at any place where cold drinks or sandwiches are served after 9 pm.”

Happy? Now your sandwiches safe! At least Section 18-55 of Little Rock’s Code of Ordinances demands it.

Nebraska and cocktails

The whole table of rules and regulations on alcoholic drinks in Nebraska is ridiculous. For instance, you are prohibited to buy a cocktail that mixes liquor and beer, but you sure can drink it separately.

Also, don’t ‘mix or pour alcoholic beverages directly into a patron’s mouth. The so-called upside-down drinks are prohibited.’

Colorado and boulders

In the city of Boulder, Colorado, you are not allowed to “throw, or otherwise move” any boulders or pebbles on any public property. Consider every step you make!

Iowa and butter issues

Iowa has special attitude to fake butter,  “Imitation butter shall be sold only under the name of oleomargarine, and no person shall use in any way, in connection or association with the sale or exposure for sale or advertisement of any such product, the word “butter”, “creamery”, or “dairy”, or the name or representation of any breed of dairy cattle, or any combination of such word or words and representation, or any other words or symbols or combination thereof commonly used in the sale of butter.”

Be careful with this one!

Minnesota and turkey scrambles

Minnesota cares about animals a lot, so no contests where the goal is to chase a pig “greased, oiled, or otherwise.” Also, avoid cases when ‘a chicken or turkey is released or
thrown into the air and wherein the object is the capture of the chicken or turkey.’

New Mexico and anthem

Don’t misuse the national or state anthems “O Fair New Mexico”. However, it isn’t stated what particularly means by the word ‘misuse.’ Singing the anthem and streaming it?

In any case, ‘whoever commits improper use of official anthems is guilty of a petty misdemeanor.’

Oklahoma and skunks

The law of Oklahoma asks you not to make glue out of dead skunks! Just…why???

Hope, you haven’t planned to do it on the weekends.
