1. Chocolate Walnut Pumpkin Cheesecake

Chocolate walnut pumpkin cheesecake…YUM! I kind of made up this pie with ingredients on hand that I wanted to use up and was shocked because it tasted amazing! My family loved it. I love when that happens 🙂 I tried to use healthy ingredients. It makes the perfect Thanksgiving or fall dessert! Sarra 9-inch pie dish 1 cup ground chocolate Graham crackers 1/2 cup ground walnuts 5 tbsp coconut oil 8 oz cream cheese at room temp 1 1/4 cup packed baked pumpkin 1/2 cups milk 3 tbsp honey 2 tbsp brown sugar 3 eggs beaten 3 tsp pumpkin spice For the crust mix the Graham crackers, ground walnuts and coconut oil until wet and press into the pie pan for crust. Preheat oven to 350F. In a blender blend together the pumpkin, milk and honey until smooth, set aside. Beat the cream cheese until fluffy, add the brown sugar and eggs and beat until smooth. Add the blended pumpkin and pumpkin spice and keep beating. Add the pumpkin cream cheese filling into the pie crust and place in the middle of the oven. Bake for 45 mins – 1 hr until the filling is no longer jiggly. 2. Delicious Cranberry Sauce

Hey hey! Jen over @pretend_its_a_donut bringing you my favorite part of Thanksgiving…. The cranberry sauce. Gone are the days of the canned stuff. I don't even know why they still make that shiz!!! Cranberry sauce, when made right, is sooo good. I love spooning a little over my turkey! And the walnuts add a delicious flavor and crunch to the tart little bowl of greatness. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ WALNUT CRANBERRY SAUCE What you need: •1 12 oz bag of cranberries (fresh or frozen) •1 cup apple cider •3/4 c juice from an orange (or orange juice) •2 tbl orange zest •3 dates, pitted and chopped •1/2 cup chopped walnuts + a little more for garnish What to do: • In a pot over medium heat put in cranberries, apple cider and orange juice. • When you start to hear the cranberries pop, turn on med-low and begin stirring. • When most have popped, put in orange zest, dates, and walnuts. Stir and let simmer for 5 min or so. • Remove from heat and top with some more chopped walnuts. Spoon over your turkey! 3. Caramelized Butternut Squash

#veganrecipes #vegan #recipes #caramelizedbutternutsquash INGREDIENTS 1 medium butternut squash (about 2 pounds) 2 tablespoons coconut oil, plus more for the pan 1 tablespoon coconut sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus more for garnish 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper Coarse sea salt, for garnish DIRECTIONS Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a rimmed baking sheet. Peel the squash and slice it in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and cut into 1-inch cubes (you should have about 6 cups). In a large bowl, combine the melted oil, coconut sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Pour the melted oil mixture over the squash and toss to coat. Place the squash on the greased baking sheet and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, tossing every 15 minutes or so to avoid burning, until caramelized and fork-tender. Garnish with additional cinnamon and coarse sea salt. Serve immediately.

Place the lime wedges and sugar in a serving glass and muddle until the juices have released from limes. 2. Take 8 mint leaves, clap them in your hands to release their aroma, then run them around the rim of the glass. Place the mint leaves in the glass and muddle gently. 3. Fill the glass with ice cubes and top with soda water. 4. Stir the mocktail gently and decorate with 2 mint leaves. —Sex On The Beach Mocktail— Ingredients: 1 ripe peach ice cubes cranberry juice orange juice glace cherry (suitable for vegans) Method: 1. Place the peach in hot water for a few minutes to soften the skin, then peel. 2. Cut the peach in half, remove the stone and place the flesh in a blender with a generous splash of water. Blend until smooth to make peach the puree. 3. Fill a glass with ice then pour in the peach puree. 4. Top with half cranberry juice and half orange juice, and decorate with a maraschino cherry and a slice of orange. —Blackberry Bramble Mocktail— Ingredients: 1/4 cup blackberries (plus one extra for garnish) juice from 1/2 lemon (plus the peel for garnish) 1 tsp agave syrup ice cubes ginger beer soda water Method: 1. Pour the blackberries, juice juice from the lemon and agave syrup in a glass and muddle until the blackberries have broken down. 2. Fill glass with ice and top with half ginger beer, half soda water. 3.
