Cruise line: Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Equinox is one of the out there. There are many amenities, for example, real grass lawn on top of the ship, might not sound that cool, but it is a very nice touch. If you enjoy craft beer and top-shelf mixed drinks, aerialists and magicians – time to book a ticket.

Cruisecritic member review: “Murano was everyone’s favorite restaurant. Both the food and service was so over the top we booked it twice.” – Beachhead Sailor.

Cruisecritic member review: “Everything about this cruise was perfect. The ship was beautiful and all the crew members were friendly and professional. Embarkation was so easy and we were on board and shipping ‘champagne’ in less than half an hour.” – NeedaCruise5000.

This place never feels crowded even though the max capacity it can hold up is 3,609 passengers. You will always find a nice place to hang out, with spa, beautiful suites, amazing decor, pool, warm and attentive service – you will be more than satisfied.

Cruisecritic member review: “This is the sexiest ship I’ve ever sailed on. Atrium extends from the main floor to the top of the ship, so natural light pours through the center of the ship. The decor is chic and the ship is spotlessly clean. Even public restrooms are always perfect.” – andernutz00.

Celebrity Solstice has everything you need for a perfect vacation on one of the largest cruise ships. Here, everything is clustered: we have all the entertainment is forward, the food is aft and the “money” (shops, casino, reception) is in the middle. Super easy to navigate even if this is your first time.

Cruisecritic member review: “The cruise was amazing. Celebrity Solstice is a beautiful ship. We had a wonderful holiday, did some great trips, saw some amazing scenery, brown bears, eagles, whales, and porpoises – definitely a trip to put on your bucket list.” – Jeanybean.

This ship is relatively old (15 years in 2019) but it’s still very good looking and fresh and offers a lot of entertainment to any age group.

Cruisecritic member review: “It was beautiful in every way – from the movies under the stars; snuggling under a blanket while the crew delivered fresh popcorn; our comfortable stateroom with the most comfortable bed ever; the variety and quality of food; the excellence of the staff and the 5-star accommodations.” – connieobrien.

This ship is part of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis class of ships, the largest cruise ships afloat. You can easily forget that you are on a ship, especially on the Royal Promenade, which feels more like a Vegas hotel. Activities here are grouped into different areas on the ship which is very convenient.

Cruisecritic member review: “This cruise ship was amazing and the staff was really nice and informative. The ship was sold out so we had close to 6,000 people and yet it didn’t feel crowded. We wasn’t bumping into each other. The ship was so nice and clean. And the food was delicious.” – Michellelyssa.

Honestly, this review from cruisecritic member sums pretty much all the info about this ship up perfectly: “From the start on arrival to the airport, celebrity staff were very organized, not a long transfer to the ship around 30-40 mins, concierge check-in was very quick, smooth all around, we were on the ship before we knew it, lovely drinks welcome on board, the ocean view cafe was open and we didn’t have to wait longer before the staterooms were ready, staterooms were comfortable enough and had toiletries in the bathroom, hairdryer and safe in the room, our stateroom attendant was very good.”

Enchantment of the Seas

Yes, the ship is a bit old but the cabins are very comfortable and fairly modern. You will find everything you need here from trivia to Bingo. The food is great, the service is efficient and friendly.

Cruisecritic member review: “From the time we set foot on the ship until the time we sadly left everyone had a fabulous time. All the meals in all the venues were excellent. Yes the ship is old and there is some rust but everything was clean and in working order. There was entertainment for all of us to enjoy and the shore excursion in Cozumel was definitely a highlight.” – The Cool Grandparents.

Nieuw Amsterdam

The unique entertainment this ship offers will not leave you bored that’s for sure. From dance-floor-burning hits of B.B. King’s Blues Club, the symphonic orchestral beauty of the Lincoln Center Stage to the soulful, to the sing-along atmosphere of Billboard Onboard.

Cruisecritic member review: “The Nieuw Amsterdam is a beautiful ship, wandering around you get to appreciate the effort in making this ship. If your only efforts take you from your stateroom to the Lido or Main Dining Room, you are wasting your travel time. HAL regularly prints daily schedules of activities and events.” – jpeter1936

Celebrity Silhouette

And last, but certainly not the least – Celebrity Silhouette. More energetic and with more attractions than its three Solstice-class predecessors. A lot of themed dining venues, a green grass-covered deck, and glass and marble decor throughout.

Cruisecritic member review: “Our first Celebrity cruise, and loved all of it. Great destinations, boosted by sunny weather for all of it. Buffet has great variety and good quality but lacks enough seating most of the time. But what makes the Silhouette special is the fantastic crew. The Captain is very visible and approachable as are the entire crew. So friendly and helpful throughout the ship.” – ship spotter.
