Thor, Captain America + 10 Characters From The Comic Books Who Doesn’t Look Like Their Characters In The Marvel Movies
Sometimes you have to sacrifice the canonical appearance of the character from the comics to make him or her look and perform better in a movie.
Nexter.org compared the characters from the comic books and the movie ones and that’s what we’ve got.
Heimdall
Heimdall has lost his fur cape in the movie and we can’t see his shield as well. Nevertheless, he still looks like he is super protected.

Valkyrie
Valkyrie from the movie looks even more badass than the one from the comics. The hairstyle of the comics one looks more stylish, though.

Groot
Well, Groot from the comics definitely looks more dressed but we don’t even know which look is better. What do you think?

The Grandmaster
The Grandmaster from the movie doesn’t look so different from the comics one, but look at that high cut on the robe, though!

Scarlet Witch
Scarlet Witch from the movie doesn’t wear such a daring costume as the comics one, but thanks God she doesn’t have that mask/hat as it would spoil the whole look.

Aunt May
Wow, she gets younger and hotter with every movie. In this one she looks more like Spidey’s sister or even his girlfriend.

Chris Hemsworth perfectly accomplishes the look of a Scandinavian God, even though his thighs are not that big and he lacks a helmet.

Hawkeye
Well, the arrows are where they are supposed to be and that the main thing. The costume is not that colorful, but that’s okay.

Mantis
Mantis from the comics looks nothing like the one from the movie. Comics one is more of an Amazon warrior when the one from the movie is a bee-like little cutie.

Vision
The design of the costume is pretty much the same, although the colors of the movie one are darker and more matte, which looks great.

In the movie Bucky looks like a soldier when Bucky from the comics looks more like Robin Hood. Although, The Winter Soldier from the comics and the one from the movie are absolutely identical.

Captain America
Well, Cap looks pretty much the same as his comic book character, although his costume and the shield look more modern and he lost his helmet, but that’s probably for the best.
