The director of the movie, Corin Hardy, believes that working on blood scenes is a very important part of the filming. That why he splashed a bucket of artificial blood down the steps at Castle Corvin and made it look realistic all by himself.

According to Key of Solomon (a pseudepigraphical grimoire supposedly written by King Solomon and dates back to the 14th- or 15th-century), Ualac or Valak was first mentioned as a demonic creature and as the Great President of Hell.

Also, he was described riding a two-headed dragon and commanding 30 legions of demons. However, it was never shown this way in the movies, but most of the fans would love to see Nun taking on the giant dragon.

During the filming in Romanic fortress in Mogoșoaia, the director of the movie,  Corin Hardy, stated he saw a pair of ghosts of Romanian soldiers.

The director respects and loves his crew members, and to show it, he performed a song “The Convent Blues” as a “thank you” to Demian Bichir and Taissa Farmiga, the actors that portray the main characters of the movie.

In the movie theater there was a guy on besides me who just threw a box of popcorn into the air when there was the first jump scare lol

The Nun wasn’t that scary but it was fine. If you like jump scares, then this is for you.

Fell asleep few times during the movie. The story line is weak, I was very disappointed.
