The scientists advise to release the small amounts of the water into the Pacific Ocean as the radioactive elements, except for tritium, were removed during the cleanup.

This idea is supported by the statement that if the tanks break, the water will be released into the ocean anyway in uncontrolled amounts.

Fishermen don’t like the idea of water release as it influences the reputation of their companies, leaves the unpleasant image for clients and ends up their effort to reestablish fishing industry.

Despite the conducted tests, people still don’t want to buy fish from Fukushima local sellers.

Japan’s 2011 tsunami

On March 11 of 2011, a magnitude-9 earthquake hit Japan, unleashing a furious tsunami.

Japan is still recovering from this natural disaster shook the northeastern cities and towns. About 150,000 people lost their places of living and the third part of them are still haven’t found a new home.
