Apple is worth over $1 trillion

Apple is worth now over $1 trillion in market capitalization. Following this week’s earnings release, Apple shares were $207.05, which values the company slightly over $1 trillion based on the most recent share count, TechCrunch reports.
Apple managed to increase its capitalization and the selling price thanks to the iPhone X release. iPhone sales grew by 1 percent, but revenue increased by 20%.
Tesla’s biggest loss in Q2
Tesla reported its largest quarterly loss in its history on Wednesday and burned through $430 million in cash over three months. But that’s Okay, as Wall Street was expecting worse.
The electric car company said it lost more than $717.5 million in the second quarter. But its cash burn rate was less than investors expected, and the company had $2.2 billion in cash at the end of the quarter.
YouTube wants to double its office space

YouTube is planning to add 2.3 million square feet of office space and provide with more than 10,000 new jobs to the company, Business Insider reports.
This huge plan for YouTube’s headquarters is the latest sign that YouTube continues to grow and other video streaming platform are far from its success.
Google’s Plans for a censored version of the search engine in China
Google is planning a censored version of its search engine for China that will block websites and certain search terms, The Intercept reported on Wednesday citing internal Google documents and people familiar with the plans.
The company originally shut down its Chinese search engine in 2010, citing government attempts to “limit free speech on the web.” But seems that the principles of the company have changed. The finalized version could be launched in the next six to nine months, pending approval from Chinese officials, see the details here.
Galaxy Note 9 leaked look

The official Samsung Galaxy Note 9 launch date is August 9. The release of the new device will happen in Brooklyn, New York at 11 am EST. Samsung tries to be the first one to release its new device before iPhone X2 and iPhone 9 phones that Apple is to show in early September.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 design hasn’t changed too much change from the phablet it’s replacing – the Galaxy Note 8. Moreover, a leaked render showing the front of the phone has all the same buttons, sensors and everything else matching the Note 8.
3D printed guns are banned in US
A gun rights group Defense Distributed that has posted plans for 3D guns blocked downloads from its website on Tuesday after a US federal judge sided with states that argued the postings could help criminals and terrorists manufacture such weapons.
Defense Distributed reached a settlement with the U.S. State Department last month which would’ve allowed it to release blueprints for guns — including AR-15-like rifles — that could be downloaded and built with the help of 3D printers. Read more here.
