Anyone can use deepfake software

Obviously, all these adult videos aren’t real, it’s just a software manipulation that can be created even by a kid.

This software, FakeApp, was downloaded more than 200,000 times since its release.

We know that the videos are fake, but they have a negative psychological effect on the people who were portrayed in them.

A small number of Internet users are aware of how AI software works. It becomes more powerful and collects more data (gestures, facial expressions) when it’s used.

We cannot say it’s completely illegal

The videos cannot be removed from the website unless you provide a copyright of them.

The good thing that Twitter, Reddit, and Pornhub announced that they would remove deepfakes from their websites.

Firstly, the promise was performed only by Twitter and Reddit, but Pornhub took the opportunity to earn some money on millions of views.

Fortunately, after the scandal took place, Pornhub got rid of “deepfakes”.

Nevertheless, even if these major website removed the fake videos, the software is introduced and people will take advantage of it.

A perfect blackmail tool

The creepiest thing about “deepfakes” is that it’s hard to realize that it’s just AI manipulation with celebrities’ faces.

The copy is so surprisingly similar to the real actress’ faces and it’s hard to tell one from the other.

In case, if you’re accused of something you haven’t done and you don’t have an alibi, it will be hard to prove your innocence.

The accuser will just create the “deepfake” video of you doing something illegal, and no one can tell the difference between real you and “fake” you. Sounds creepy…
