Disrespect of government ends up with punishment
North Koreans must a-d-o-r-e their leader, Kim Jong Un, and his family and ancestors. Anyone, who disrespects the government of North Korea, will be severely punished.
Women aren’t allowed to drive
The law states that only male officials can drive and women are strictly forbidden to do so.
You can’t have your own hairstyle
There are only 28 styles of haircuts approved by Kim Jong-Un. Particularly, men can decide which one to choose among 10 hairstyles, and women have more options – 18 various styles.
International call is a crime
International calls are restricted and are punished by death.
Leader’s pics first, then your life
The first thing North Korean citizens must do when the fire starts, is to save the photos of the Supreme leaders. After that, they’re allowed to save themselves and their clothes and personal things.
Workcamp for not coming to the election
The citizens line up to hand out their votes with only one option on the ballot. Everyone is obliged to come to the elections. Not surprising that Kim wins with 99-100% positive results.

Internet access is strictly forbidden
They have their own intranet – “Kwangmyong” – was opened in 2000, and includes the browser, email, news and search tools. North Korea even has their own computer OS

The North Korean defense minister was executed for falling asleep during one of Kim Jong-un’s meetings. So, you know, don’t do it.

Porn and Bible are prohibited
Death penalties are given for distributing pornography, watching movies not approved by the governments and possessing Bibles.

Smoking pot is considered to be legal in this country. For instance, American soldier Allen Abshier defected to North Korea while serving in South Korea. He has been caught smoking marijuana five or six times.
