‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 – Release Date, Fresh Details, Final Trailer and FIRST REVIEWS!

124

For many people, 4th of July is not only one of the biggest US holidays but only a long-awaited premiere of Netflix’s top series ‘Stranger Things’. Nexter.org knows what to expect and what people who already watched it say about the Season 3.

Release date

As it was already announced and mentioned in the trailer, ‘Stranger Things’ season 3 will be available to stream this summer on July 4th! This already sounds like the perfect excuse to bail on Fourth of July plans in advance.

The Mind Flayer — the terrible tentacled entity last seen hovering over Hawkins Middle School in the Upside Down — is alive and well and prepared to lay waste to the whole town, and perhaps more.

Old good 80-s trendish things are there

As executive producer Shawn Levy revealed at PaleyFest in March 2018, season 3 will take place one year after the events of season 2, placing Eleven, Mike, and friends in the summer of 1985.

Things that were popular that summer: “Heaven” by Bryan Adams, “Shout” by Tears for Fears, “Sussudio” by Phil Collins, and Back to the Future (see item number 10). Nintendo was also released that October, which only makes me weep for Bob.

What’s going on with Billy?

Billy is now a popular lifeguard at the Hawkins Pool, but he will soon find himself pulled into a never-ending nightmare,” Matt Duffer says. “This season is a major one for Billy—he really takes center stage this year, and we can’t wait for people to see Dacre’s performance.”

One main character will definitely die

Gaten, who plays Dustin, was pretty straightforward when Vanity Fair asked him if any main characters would die in season 3. “Yes,” he said during his lie detector test…and no lie was detected.
