Pi day

The interesting fact is that the scientist died on the same day  Albert Einstein was born, 14th of March, which is 3.14, the number Pi. Great conspiracy theory, huh?

This holiday was established in 1987 by the physicist from San Francisco Larry Shaw, who noted that the American date recording system (month/date) date March 14 – 3/14 – and the time 1:59:26 coincides with the first digits of the number π=3.1415926…

Since then, the holiday is celebrated by the math fans all over the world.
