First Luxury Hotel in Space, Moon in 4K, Fiery Storm on Jupiter + More News From Space
Space holds so many secrets and yet the humanity knows only a few of them.
Each week Nexter.org prepares a new dose of space news and latest discoveries that make us one step closer to space.
First luxury hotel in space
The US-based start-up Orion Span will open the first luxury hotel in space called Aurora Station.
The fully modular space station will host 6 people including 2 crew members.
The trip will be 12-days-long and cost $9.5 million. During this time, the hotel will fly at a height of 200 miles and orbit the Earth every 90 minutes.
The guests will be able to see 16 sunrises in one day and float in zero gravity.
The Aurora Station plans to welcome its first guests in 2022.

See the Moon in 4KÂ
NASA space agency just released a new video showing off high-resolution imagery gathered by its Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, tasked with exploring the moon from above.
The five-minute video shows off various sites on the near and the far side of the moon.
“The tour visits a number of interesting sites chosen to illustrate a variety of lunar terrain features,” NASA said in a video description.
“Some are on the near side and are familiar to both professional and amateur observers on Earth, while others can only be seen clearly from space.”
Storm on Jupiter
NASA scientists have made a 3D tour through the giant storm on Jupiter.
The images of Jupiter’s north pole were taken by the JIRAM camera aboard the Juno spacecraft.
The camera can capture clouds 45 miles down from their tops.
The temperature of the bright yellow clouds is around 9 F degrees and -181 F degrees of the dark red clouds.
Juno has traveled 122 M miles during 11 close passes by Jupiter’s roiling clouds and mapped about a third of the planet.
Rolls-Royce and Boeing create space engine
Reaction Engines Limited (REL), the UK company developing a revolutionary aerospace engine, has announced investments from both Boeing and Rolls-Royce.
REL is working on a propulsion system that is part jet engine, part rocket engine.
The company believes it will transform the space launch market and usher in hypersonic travel around the Earth.
The new investments amount to £26.5m.
