“Happy citizens” were drawn on the windows of the emergency shelter. Also on the facade of the building, a banner with the inscription “Welcome. FIFA World Cup. Russia 2018” was hung.
The inscription says, “Here they are – the Russians who will replace you. Fabric, printed, not asking unnecessary questions.”

According to local residents, there is a hostel for migrants in the house on Sholokhov Avenue (according to other sources, the house has been resettled). Rostov people note that at night the pictures on the windows look very creepy.
One more local resident posted the pic of the paintings on Instagram saying, “The preparation for World Cup 2018. Look attentively, people are painted. Laughing out loud.”
Also, it’s believed that the building is under repair for more than one year and these paintings are the way to hide the shame.
