Moscow, the Capital of Russia, Is Drowning in 9,000 lbs of Garbage a Day: Dozens of Children Have Been Hospitalized (Terrifying PHOTOS)
Volokolamsk, a town located near Moscow, has been really angry because of the growing problem of garbage in Russia. The interesting fact is that residents of the town don’t blame Putin for that though he’s aware of the problem.Â

Moscow is under tons of garbage
Volokolamsk is situated near the Yadrovo, one of the biggest dumps with 9,000 metric tons of garbage per day. The dump has been full for a long time, nevertheless, workers still bring here thousand pounds of garbage every day.
The problem is that only a half of the garbage is being recycled and the other half is thrown away (or buried, if it’s a lucky day).

In 2017, Putin closed one of the dumps, but at the same time, a number of his minions are aware of the long-lasting problem and still hasn’t done anything.
People of Volokolamsk got sick of the smell of foul and conducted a few protests. As a result, some of the residents were arrested.

Putin friends responsible for garbage issue have tried to convince people that the air isn’t damaging to the health, while dozens of kids were hospitalized because of bad air quality.
Funny fact is that 70% residents Volokolamsk still voted for Putin in the 2018Â elections.

Protests and arrests
Some of the town’s population joined activists in a protest and blocked the road the dump. Unfortunately, it hasn’t brought any results.
To sum up, Russians are not being protected by the government, which can lead to more people hospitalized.
