Fribo the robot
Fribo is a cat-like robot, designed by Korean researchers, is specifically for young people who live alone.
Fribo encourages people to text and call one another by sharing their daily activities in a virtual living space.
When ‘Fribo’ hears a noise it recognizes, it sends a message to another ‘Fribo’ in a friend’s home, or an entire network of ‘Fribos’ belonging to people you know, and sends them a notification.

Biscuit the dog
Biscuit stands around two feet tall and looks something like a labradoodle. He’s equipped with sensors that allow him to react to touch and speech.
Researchers showed that it can help people with dementia to reduce stress and anxiety.

This robot is made for hospital patients, it reacts to touch and voice and helps ill people feel less lonely and forget about their pain.

Qoobo the cat
Qoobo is a soft, round cushion with a robotic tail that reacts to strokes, just as a loving pet would.
This pillow with tail and covered with fur responds to touch and can be a real friend for people who have allergies.
