Mac Miller

Mac Miller was an American rapper, singer and record producer. Malcolm McCormick, also known as Mac Miller, was found dead on September 7 at his home.

“Authorities were called and Miller was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:51 a.m. At this time, an autopsy is pending and a cause of death has not been determined.”

Now, finally the L.A. County Coroner’s Office presented the findings of their toxicology report and said Miller’s death was caused by an accidental overdose on fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol, according to reports from TMZ.

The report gave his cause of death as “mixed drug toxicity” and confirmed that his death was accidental.

“Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26,” his family said in a statement to Rolling Stone. “He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time.”

Prince

Prince died at the age of 57 when he was found in an elevator at his estate on April 21, 2016. A report from Prince’s autopsy shows he had an “exceedingly high” level of fentanyl in his body when he died –  450 micrograms per kilogram.

However, scientists state there is no such term “lethal level” of fentanyl: in one case a particular dose of fentanyl can help, in another one – kill.

Jim Morrison

Jim Morrison was a frontman of the American band “The Doors”.

Before going to bed, Morrison and his friend took heroin. During the sleep, strong convulsions and vomiting reactions started because of the heroin overdose. In the morning of the 3rd of July, 1971 he died in the bathroom.

Lil Peep

A young American rapper and singer Lil Peep (Gustav Åhr) died on November 15 at the age of 21. Among the likely causes of sudden death are a drug overdose with Xanax and opioid analgesic fentanyl and suspected suicide.

Before the death, Lil Peep posted a series of photos and one of them has a caption saying, “When I die, you’ll love me.”

Heath Ledger was found dead at his apartment by the housekeeper on 22 January 2008.

As a result of the autopsy, the wild combination of medical elements was found: oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine.

The conclusion stated he died of the overdose of prescribed medications.
