  • Food

A large hunk of Cheddar, fresh eggs, or even a full-size pizza in your carry-on will not bother anyone at the airport. Although, you’d better leave wet-style pet food and soft cheeses at home, as they don’t allow those.

  • Drink

Mini-bottles of alcohol in your carry-on are okay, although you’re not allowed to have liquor greater than 140 proof. According to The Federal Aviation Administration, you can only drink alcohol which is offered by the airline.

Creatures

  • Emotional support pets

For some people, it is impossible to fly without their support animal, but some travelers allegedly abused the system so many times that now you will need some special documentation for such pets for Delta, United, and American Airlines. Contact your airline to get more information.

  • Bugs stuff

Aerosol insecticide against mosquitoes is allowed only if it is packed checked-bag. And bug repellent is allowed in 3.4 ounces (or less) container.

Medical stuff

Pretty much everything of this kind is allowed on the plane, but if you’re unsure about your personal medical situation, contact TSA Cares.

Miscellaneous

  • Snow globes

Are allowed, but only if they are filled with 3.4 ounces of liquid or less.

  • Marijuana

According to the TSA – hookahs are fine, but medical marijuana in checked bags or carry-ons is forbidden.

  • Parachute

Sure thing! Just fold it securely and be ready that it will be inspected.

Weapons and tools

  • Good for carry-on

Nail clippers, knitting needles, wrenches, screwdrivers (but only if they are less than 7 inches), bicycle chains.

  • Not for carry-on

Knives, real guns, throwings stars, razor blades, replica weapons, dynamite.

Sports stuff

  • Good for carry-on

A bowling ball, a baseball and golf ball are okay.

  • Not for carry-on

As the TSA says, “Sports equipment that can be used as a bludgeon (such as bats and clubs) is prohibited in the cabin of the plane and must be transported in your checked bags.”

So, leave your baseball bat, golf club and bowling pins at home.

So, these are all the things we wanted to tell you about today. Make sure you make a good research before packing stuff for the plane.
