‘Disenchantment’ premiere

‘Disenchantment’ is the latest animated series from the creator of The Simpsons and Futurama that premieres on Netflix on August 17.

Disenchantment is Matt Groening’s first new series since 1999’s Futurama, and The Simpsons’ creator latest effort is stuck in the past, literally and figuratively. In case you’re one of the fans of the iconic series, you are probably interested in something like that while waiting for Rick and Morty as well.

Bean (voiced by Abi Jacobson) is hard-drinking, bar-brawling royalty who ends up being friends with her person demon Luci (Eric Andre) and an elf looking for adventure from his sheltered gum-drop life, Elfo (Nat Faxon). Hijinks thusly ensue.

Whitehall is tipped to star alongside Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson in Disney’s new film the Jungle Cruise. Not everyone is happy that he’s been cast to play a gay character.

As it was expected, not many were glad about Jack Whitehall cast as first Disney major gay character. James Barr shows the side of gay actors rejected to play straight roles. However, no one has spoken about the talent and the view of the director of the movie.

It was announced in July 2017 that the “La La Land” and “The Greatest Showman” duo would be working with Menken on new songs for director Guy Ritchie’s upcoming live-action retelling of 1992’s “Aladdin,” starring Mena Massoud in the lead role, Will Smith as Genie and Naomi Scott as Jasmine.

Pasek and Paul have finally revealed some new details about their songs for Aladdin.

“We got to write a new song for Jasmine,” Paul tells Variety. “Alan wrote a beautiful piece of music and [Scott] is incredible.”

They also wrote a duet for Aladdin and Jasmine. “It’s a sweet song,” Paul said.

They even got to write a new verse for the original film’s “Arabian Nights.” “Aladdin” is set for release on May 24, 2019.
