NoPhone, Undies for Two + 6 Other Stupidest Inventions Ever

226

Many people want to create something unique and useful, something humanity will actually need. And a lot of them actually succeed in this task but many others create things that sounds interesting only in theory or just completely useless stuff nobody ever asked for.

Nexter.org invites you to take a look at some of the dumbest ones.

Eyebloc

As the creator of Eyebloc C.J. Isakow said: “Americans are being watched.” And that might be true, who knows. More and more people feel like they need to cover the cameras on their laptops just in case. And that’s what Eyebloc is for. It is a piece of soft plastic that fits onto your laptop.

In theory, it is pretty cool. But do we really want to spend $14.99 on something like this, when a regular piece of paper and tape, or a sticky note will do the job perfectly?

Paparazzi Shades

Source: Daily News

Popular people are followed by paparazzi all the time. And there are moments when they just don’t want to be photographed. So now they can use Paparazzi Shades! Glasses that look like the black bar used for censoring. Which is a pretty fun thing to have and we gotta admit they look quite edgy. But not if you’re a real celebrity. They are better ways to not be photographed than using this creation.

Toilet Golf

Okay, we all know that going to the toilet can get pretty boring and we all wish we had something interesting to do while we’re doing our business. Sure, there are smartphones but there is also Toilet Golf! A game with a little mat and golf clubs and balls and all that stuff.

Impractical? Yes. Silly? Yes. Would you secretly want to have it? 100%.

Tiddy Bear

Seat belts are not the most comfortable things ever. But how can we change that? Tiddy Bear! A plush teddy bear that clips onto your seat belt strap to make the belt softer. Weeeell, it kinda makes you look silly and it only comes in pink or gold but Ellen DeGeneres gave it her stamp of approval, so it’s up to you to decide.

Selfie Spoon

Source: YouTube

Yes, selfies are cool but don’t you think that Selfie Spoon is a bit too much? Basically, it is just a huge spoon attached to your iPhone. And the idea of this product is that breakfast becomes more enjoyable when it’s photographed. Is it, though?

Undies for Two

Source: eBay

“Oh, I wish I could share one underwear with you,” said no one ever. There are things that just not supposed to be shared. But no, there’s Undies for Two. The Amazon description says, “Be the life of the party.” Can you imagine a party where this would be appropriate? Or fun? Or not disturbing? No.

Wine glass holder necklace

Okay, so the idea is pretty nice. At first. But then, when you try to imagine yourself with this thing on your neck and a glass in front of you… It is just not practical at all. Moreover, holding a glass is not that hard and if you feel awkward, it will make you look busy. So, it’s a win-win. Not for the wine glass holder necklace, though.

NoPhone

It is no surprise that people spend to much time on their phones, right? Yes, that is why Van Gould and Chris Sheldon decided to create the NoPhone – a piece of plastic looking like iPhone but with no screen, battery, buttons, anything. It is just not a phone. They said, that this invention will help people spend less time on their phones. Um, we don’t think so.

Which one do you think is the worst one?
