“The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” premiere

The much-anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed, global box office phenomenon that started it all, “The LEGO (R) Movie 2: The Second Part,” reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are now facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO (R) invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than it can be rebuilt.


“What Men Want” premiere

Inspired by the Nancy Meyers hit romantic comedy WHAT WOMEN WANT, this film follows the story of a female sports agent (Henson) who has been constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When she gains the power to hear mens’ thought, she is able to shift the paradigm to her advantage as she races to sign the NBA’s next superstar.


“Cold Pursuit” premiere

Cold Pursuit, an action thriller infused with irreverent humor, stars Liam Neeson as Nels Coxman, a family man whose quiet life with his wife (Laura Dern) is upended following the mysterious death of their son. Nels’ search for justice turns into a vengeful hunt for Viking (Tom Bateman), a drug lord he believes is connected to the death. As one by one of Viking’s associates “disappear,” Nels goes from upstanding citizen to ice-cold vigilante, letting nothing – and no one – get in his way.


“Shaft” trailer

The first trailer for the action-comedy Shaft has dropped and we cannot wait.

We saw Samuel L. Jackson take on legendary John Shaft II back in 2000 and now, in this reboot/sequel, we are reintroduced to his character alongside John Shaft III (Jessie T. Usher).

John Shaft Jr. is a cyber security expert with a degree from MIT, who enlists his father’s help to uncover the truth behind his best friend’s untimely death.


New “Dumbo” trailer

The live-action remake of Dumbo is just around the corner, and yes, you’ve probably already seen our little friend fly.

In a new trailer released on Wednesday, we get a glimpse into the characters around the famed elephant, like Danny DeVito, who as the circus ringmaster reprises that snappy demeanour which we’ve loved from Matilda and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.


The Simpsons gets renewed for two more seasons

The animated series will air seasons 31 and 32 over the next two years, keeping its status as one of the longest-running shows on television.
