“Alita: Battle Angel” premiere

Alita: Battle Angel is a new cyberpunk action film that is based on Yukito Kishiro’s manga series Gunnm, also known as Battle Angel Alita and published in 1990.

Robert Rodriguez decided to create a live-action film adaptation that is to see the world on February 14, 2019.

“Isn’t It Romantic” premiere

New York City architect Natalie works hard to get noticed at her job but is more likely to be asked to deliver coffee and bagels than to design the city’s next skyscraper. And if things weren’t bad enough, Natalie, a lifelong cynic when it comes to love, has an encounter with a mugger that renders her unconscious, waking to discover that her life has suddenly become her worst nightmare – a romantic comedy – and she is the leading lady.

“Aladdin” trailer

The new trailer for the live action Aladdin shows a lot of awesome new footage, including the Cave of Wonders, Abu, Jasmine’s dope fashion, and most importantly a truly blue Will Smith as the genie. You ain’t never had a friend like this!

First look at Will Smith’s Genie in Disney’s ‘Aladdin’ has made the headlines and Twitter users have met the CGI version of Genie really controversially with hilarious remarks. 

Disney’s Aladdin is set to release on May 24, 2019.

“Tolkien” first trailer

Tolkien’ explores the formative years of the orphaned author as he finds friendship, love and artistic inspiration among a group of fellow outcasts at school. This takes him into the outbreak of World War I, which threatens to tear the ‘fellowship’ apart. All of these experiences would inspire Tolkien to write his famous Middle-Earth novels.

The movie premieres in theaters on May 10.

Paddington is getting a new TV show



The bear will be back on the small screen, but will keep his most recent voice. Ben Whishaw will continue in the role, but the show, to be broadcast on Nickelodeon, will be aimed at young children.

The Aquaman star joins a long list of big names slated to join the upcoming Dune adaptation by director Denis Villeneuve. Many are finding it hard to keep track of the dizzying array of talent already affiliated with the project.

“Killing Eve” Season 2

BBC America and AMC Networks on Thursday — Valentine’s Day, appropriately — unveiled a trailer of the cult show’s next installment, which stars Sandra Oh as intelligence agent Eve Polastri and Jodie Comer as Villanelle, the sociopathic assassin with whom she becomes mutually obsessed.

Fans got a preview for the TV show’s new season, which premieres on April 7.

“The Breaking Bad” sequel movie

We all know a Breaking Bad film is in production, and we all know this is very exciting, but we didn’t know a great deal more than that… until now.

It looks like the film will indeed be a sequel revolving around Jesse Pinkman, who is played by Aaron Paul. What’s more, it seems the film will air first on Netflix.

The news was reported by The Hollywood Reporter, whose unnamed source confirmed that Netflix would have first-run rights to the project, before it airs on US television network AMC.

“Catch-22” first look

The six-episode series, based on Joseph Heller’s novel, will premiere on May 17.

“The Aquaman” sequel finds its writer

According to The Wrap, The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, a sequel to the DC blockbuster is in the works with David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick on board as writer. Johnson-McGoldrick’s other writing credits include The Conjuring 2, Orphan and the first Aquaman film.

Disney is officially stopping Marvel on Netflix

We all knew the day was coming when Disney would end its long-running partnership with streaming giant, Netflix.

As the House of Mouse gears up for the release of its own streaming service, Disney Plus, the conglomerate has announced that forthcoming superhero romp Captain Marvel will not be available to Netflix subscribers – nor will any other of its 2019 releases.
