“Suspiria” premiere

Suspiria (2018) is to hit theaters on October 26. It’s a supernatural horror film directed by Luca Guadagnino and based on the 1977 film.

A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe’s artistic director (Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Ebersdorf). Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.

“Johnny English Strikes Again” premiere

Rowan Atkinson returns as the much-loved accidental secret agent in “Johnny English Strikes Again”. When a cyber-attack reveals the identity of all active undercover agents in Britain, the country’s only hope is called out of retirement. English’s new mission is his most critical to date: Dive head first into action to find the mastermind hacker.

The movie hits theaters on Oct.16.

“Hunter Killer” premiere

Deep under the Arctic Ocean, American submarine Captain Joe Glass (Gerard Butler, Olympus Has Fallen, 300) is on the hunt for a U.S. sub in distress when he discovers a secret Russian coup is in the offing, threatening to dismantle the world order. Captain Glass must now assemble an elite group of Navy SEALs to rescue the kidnapped Russian president and sneak through enemy waters to stop WWIII.

Netflix has released the first trailer for its new horror thriller Bird Box, starring Sandra Bullock. The post-apocalyptic film, based on the Josh Malerman novel of the same name, comes in the wake of John Krasinski’s hit A Quiet Place. Only, instead of the monster finding its way to you through sound, it does so via vision.

“Wonder Woman 1984” pushed back to 2020

Gal Gadot announced that the Wonder Woman sequel is being moved from November 1, 2019 to June 5, 2020.

Guillermo del Toro, who won Oscars for best director and best picture for his creature-feature love story The Shape of Water, has finally settled on his next movie.

The filmmaker will write, direct and produce a new adaptation of Pinocchio, setting up his long-in-the works project at Netflix, which made the announcement Monday.

That Killers of the Flower Moon movie is now officially happening, as director Martin Scorsese and actor Leonardo DiCaprio have firmed up the adaptation as their next project. The duo have been attached to an adaptation of author David Grann’s book for quite some time, with DiCaprio’s involvement dating back to 2016 when J.J. Abrams was circling the director’s chair.
