Prepare walnut sized portions, dip the sides in the eggwhite then coat it with crumbled hazelnuts. Ice Crystal Christmas Cookies

Ice Crystal Christmas Cookies ❄? (?? die deutsche Version findet ihr weiter unten) This time I wanted to make cookies in a special colour, so I will have a colourful mixture of christmas cookies in my cookie box. They are really simple to make ? _ _ _ _ _ Ingredients: ▪75 g unsalted butter ▪60 g white sugar ▪1 egg ▪150 g all-purpose flour ▪rum aroma ▪powdered sugar ▪lemon juice ▪grated coconut ▪blue food colouring Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (355°F). Prepare a baking tray with baking parchment. Mix butter, sugar, egg, flour, rum aroma and knead the ingredients to a dough. Roll out the dough, cut out small heart forms and put them on the baking tray. Bake the cookies for approximately 12 minutes and leave them to cool down completely. 2. Mix grated coconut with a little bit of blue food colouring (not too much if you want them to be in different shades of blue). Afterwards I mixed some powdered sugar with a little bit lemon juice and water. I added this mixture on top of the cookies to make them sticky and spread the grated coconut over them.

?Coconut Cacao Cookies ? This was my first cookie recipe I created from scratch! No original recipe here! ? I was EXTREMELY excited with how these turned out! ?? Who said a Christmas cookie couldn’t be healthy?!? ?? It is hard to find the right ingredients for anything down here, so I got creative & made a happy cookie that is stuffed allllll the good (& healthy!) things! ? ?Ingredients?(makes 16 cookies) ?1c rolled oats ?1c oat flour (blended up oats) ?1/2c coconut flakes (unsweetened) ?Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder) ?2T chia seeds ?1t baking powder ?1T ground cinnamon ?4 bananas ?3/4c unsweetened coconut (or almond) milk ?6T coconut oil ?1c cacao beans (or cacao nibs OR dark chocolate chips) ?1/2c raw peanut butter ?1t vanilla extract ?2-4T honey/natural sweetener (optional – try the cookie dough before adding!) ?Directions? ??Grab a small bowl & mix your 2Tbsp chia seeds with 4Tbsp water & place in the fridge to cook for 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 350F & grease baking sheet. ??Mix all dry ingredients into 1 large bowl (oats, oat flour, coconut flakes, protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon, dry sweetener (if using)) – Mix thoroughly. ?? In a blender or a food processor, mix all wet ingredients together (bananas, milk, peanut butter, vanilla, honey (if using)). If you’re using cacao beans, you will want to throw those into the blender to break down with the rest of the wet ingredients. ??Add the wet to the dry & mix well (arm might get a WEE tired here!) – Add milk if it’s too dry or add oats if it’s too wet! ?? While eating the dough, place some hockey-puck shapes into the baking sheet, sprinkle with coconut flakes & throw them in for 12-15 minutes. Consume cookies hot or cold and at all hours of the day! ? ??Nutritional Facts??(no added honey or sweetener) ✨230 Calories ✨15g Fat ✨100mg Sodium ✨200mg Potassium ✨20g Carbohydrates ✨6g Fiber ✨4g Sugar ✨7g Protein ?SOOOO addicting!! Rum balls

Dear Friends, these are truly the “It” confection to take to your next holiday party. Seriously, you will be loved for it. Rum balls (or bourbon, if you prefer) are so easy to make, why not double the batch? This recipe will take you less than 30 minutes to make, but they’ll need about 2-3 days for the flavors to properly meld, so get started this week so they’re ready by the weekend. They are thoroughly enjoyed by all, just keep them clear of the kids! Rum (or Bourbon) Balls Makes about 3 dozen 1 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers, crushed (for a more chocolately version use chocolate wafers) 1 1/2 cups almonds or pecans, chopped 3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar 1/4 cup cocoa 1/2 cup rum or bourbon 3 tablespoons honey 1/8 cup finely shredded coconut or confectioners’ sugar (for rolling) Gently crush the vanilla wafers (while still in their unopened bag) with a rolling pin or a kitchen mallet until crumbly but not completely powdered. In a large bowl, combine the vanilla wafer crumbs, chopped nuts, 3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar, and cocoa. Mix in rum and honey. Shape dough into 1-inch balls, then store in an airtight container for 2 days to allow the flavors to deepen. Roll in shredded coconut or confectioners’ sugar (or a combination of the two!) before serving. Don’t miss The 12 Days of Christmas Cookies Countdown!
