7 Most Useful Tips and Tricks For iPhone 6, 7, SE, 8, iPhone X You Didn’t Know About
Nowadays, almost every person spends a lot of time staring at their phone. And here’s some good news for iPhone users. There are many interesting features your iPhone has that will make this process faster and much more comfortable.
Nexter.org prepared you a list of the most useful ones.
Shake It Till You (Un)Make It

This feature is not a new one but it seems like not that many people know about it. Let’s see if you knew. To undo something you just typed on your iPhone you can shake it. Basically, it works as Ctrl+Z on your computer. You’ll see a pop-up window after you shake it where you’ll need to tap “Undo” and voila! It’s like it never happened!
To manage this function go to Settings > General > Accessibility.
Improve your iPhone’s dictionary

The thing is that technically you CAN’T add more words to iPhone’s dictionary but here is a little trick. Add any word you need to your contact list and save it. You don’t even need to add any other info but name. And there you go, now this word will come up as a predictive text suggestion. Why? Because every name you have in your contact list is automatically added to iPhone’s lexicon.

Character previews can be really annoying and at one point you’ll be really happy to get rid of them. Well, it is actually super easy. Go to Settings > General > Keyboard and turn  “Character Preview” off. Yes, as easy as that!
Make your text stand out

What kind of text do you want? Bold? Italic? Or maybe strikethrough? Did you know that you can actually do it? Not on every app, unfortunately, but at least in the notes app, in your email and some messaging services, like WhatsApp.
Tap on your text, select what you want to change and you’ll see the copy-and-paste menu which will have much more than just copy and paste.
The size of your keyboard

Having an ability to change the size of your keyboard is quite important. Also, you can shift it to the side a little.
For the multiple keyboards tap on the on the emoticon or globe icon and squash it to either side.
If you have only one keyboard go to Settings > General > Keyboard > One-Handed Keyboard.
Cool shortcuts

Let’s be honest, shortcuts are amazing and they really save some time. So, here is a great feature for all the iPhone users. There is a thing called “Text Replacement” that automatically expands shortcuts into full phrases. For example, “imar” will turn into “I am almost ready!”
To manage your text replacements, go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement. Now to add a new shortcut click the plus sign.
Keyboard into a trackpad
Source: Cult of Mac
A hard press on your iPhone’s keyboard will make the characters blank out and your keyboard will convert into a trackpad. Now, you can control the cursor just as you would on a laptop. It will make text editing more precise.
Unfortunately, this feature doesn’t work on every iPhone, just 6S and up.
