What’s the problem
Some users on iOS devices noticed the glitch inside Messenger application. The app stops working after you type a couple of words in a chat.
The problem appears as soon as autocorrect kicks.
This technical bug makes communication through Messenger annoying and unreal.
At the same time, other apps function fine.

How to fix it
Unfortunately, closing or reopening the app doesn’t fix the problem. Also, if you try to delete and reinstall Messenger, the bug won’t disappear.
The company haven’t commented on this issue, so there is no official answer to the problem yet. However, you can try the one below.
The temporary fix for iOS devices users is to download SwiftKey Keyboard from AppStore.
It’s a smart keyboard that replaces the built-in keyboard with one that adapts to the way you type. It’s free and you can find it here.
