Detector failed to wake up children

In 2012, six Philpott children died in a house fire as they slept through the sound of the smoke alarm.

The fire was started by their parents, Mairead and Mick Philpott, and their friend, Paul Mosley.

The father got a life-term in prison, and the other two was jailed for 17 years.

This accident gave a call for fire alarm sound testing, and the results were terrible: most of the kids haven’t woken up because they didn’t hear the smoke detector.
