Key Changes in iOS 11.3 Beta 1 + How to Know if Battery Health Feature is Available

What’s New in iOS 11.3 Beta 1?
This is a really huge update, which contains new animojis in iMessage, improved performance, and autonomy.
Also, it includes a number of small improvements, such as business chat, a global Apple Music videos changes and new features for the News apps.

New animojis
The most predictable update. If you want to be not only a poop, but also a handsome lion, then you’ll like this new pack of animojis.
In iOS 11.3, four new animations will be added at once: Bear, Dragon, Lion, and Skull, and the total number of animated characters will be 17.

Business Chat
A new service Business Chat allows to schedule a meeting, make purchases with Apple Pay in iMessages app and discuss details about the business without revealing information about yourself.

ARKit 1.5
Apps with ARKit 1.5 are able to recognize and move virtual objects vertically.
In other words, objects can be moved along walls, doors and other obstacles, not just the floor and other horizontal planes.

In the future
Those changes were promised, but didn’t appear in iOS 11.3 Beta 1. You can expect them in the future updates.
Battery Health
IOS 11.3 also adds new features to display the battery status and recommendations for battery maintenance.
They can be found in the section “Settings” – “Battery”. In addition, users can now see if the power management function is enabled, which controls the performance of the battery.
These advanced settings are available for iPhone 6 and later models.
