Cast right after Ruby Rose deletes Twitter

The CW Network has cast Ruby Rose as Batwoman as it was a “priority to cast an openly gay actress to take on the role,” after the scandal with Scarlett Johanson that was supposed to play the  character.

The Australian actress who sees herself as “gender fluid,” was suggested by Twitter users that she was not right for the role, focusing on her sexuality and stating “she’s not the right lesbian”.

“Where on earth did ‘Ruby is not a lesbian therefore she can’t be Batwoman’ come from,” she wrote before deleting her Twitter account.” I came out at 12? And have for the past 5 years had to deal with ‘she’s too gay’.” Read more about new Batwoman here.
