He’ll be always remembered as a great man and talented artist:Â
Isao Takahata's last film as a director was The Tale of Princess Kaguya (2013), a somber and breathtaking take on an ancient fable. For my money, an easy contender for the best anime movie ever made. Nothing but respect. RIP. https://t.co/mkGfCNKJJu pic.twitter.com/mbemZfen6m
