China’s TV is banned from broadcasting Eurovision
China’s Mango TV has blurred out the flags of Albania, Ireland, and the LGBTQ flags during the performances by Irish and Albanian contestants.
Eurovision’s organizer, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), decided to cancel China broadcast for cutting same-sexes scenes in “Together” by Ireland’s Ryan O’Shaughnessy.

O’Shaughnessy stated, “From the very start we’ve said love is love — doesn’t matter whether it’s between two guys, two girls or a guy and a girl, so I think this is a really important decision by the EBU.”

Ontario’s first non-binary birth certificate
Joshua M. Ferguson has won a chance to allow people to choose between “M” for male, “F” for female and “X” for a non-binary designation on their birth certificate.
“I feel relieved because I know the policy will save lives on a macro level—this is bigger than just me,” Ferguson told VICE. “It’s significant for me to finally have my correct birth certificate after 35 years of life, but, for me, it’s more significant that I know it will save lives.”

In fact, it’s huge success, “I think it will be a new story for many people, and I think people will want to know and understand,” Ferguson said. “It starts with my story, which I think is a very human story—a story of survival and of resilience.”

Russian Trolls’ Fake LGBT Facebook Group
According to an analysis by The Washington Post, the fake Facebook group ‘LGBT United’ was the most popular for Russian troll ads during the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
House Intelligence Committee Thursday released thousands of ads posted in the period between 2015 and the middle of the last year. Turned out, LGBT United had the most popular one in July 2015, August 2015, March 2016, and June 2016.
