We’re sure every geek who has a right will use its benefits to rename everything around them to Middle-Earth, Westeros names or Harry Potter’s creature names.

Idaho streets named after ‘

A veteran of residential engineering and development projects, who’s in charge of renaming the streets in Idaho, happened to be a big fan of “” books and TV-series.

She made a decision to rename some of the places to Arya Place, Greyjoy Road, Baratheon Ave. and Rickon St., some of them have been even approved by the committee.

Most of the names were denied, for instance, Baelish Ave., Bronn St., as they sound to close to other street names.

According to io9,  Jannell Hall of B&A Engineers are in charge of renaming the streets.

“In this one I’ve got , Firefly, I’ve even thrown my son and my husband’s names in there,” Hall told io9. “Basically I’m like, ‘OK I’m a geek, I have a lot of fandom,  is unique enough and big enough.

Looks likely this supercool woman is taking her profession really seriously. And we, as geeks, are happy to see these changes!

Dutch Town and “Lord of  the Rings”

Geldrop is a small town in the southern part of The Netherlands and is known for its creative street names. The special thing about this town is that all the titles were inspired by “Lord of the Rings” franchise.

In the picture, we can clearly see the entire neighborhood consisting of Lord of the Rings references: Tolkien Avenue, Boromir, Faramir, Aragon, Denethor, and Palantir streets and many more.

It’s the only fact known about this city, but Gandalf approves!

Harry Potter’s Montana city

America is full of surprises! Firstly it’s Idaho, then Montana… It’s close to be a trend! Anyway, meet the whole neighborhood of Missoula named after “Harry Potter” characters and places.

Missoula lovingly referred to as “Potterville” is a place of four Harry Potter-themed streets. Collin Bangs, the developer of Windsor Park, stated they wanted something new in their city:

“We wanted something outside of the standard names you hear all over the place, and someone said, ‘Well, the Harry Potter books have interesting names.’ And that hit a key right away.”
