Elon Musk sued by Thai rescuer

A British cave diver, Vernon Unsworth, is suing tech billionaire Elon Musk for the offensive claims that the rescuer is a child abuser. The lawsuit seeks $75,000 in compensation and an injunction against Musk to stop further allegations.

Previously, Vernon Unsworth claimed that Musk’s help in the mission is “just a PR stunt [that] had absolutely no chance of working.” In response, Musk called British cave diver a child abuser and stated he’s going to sue him. Then he apologized. Then he wrote “You don’t think it’s strange he hasn’t sued me? He was offered free legal services” and that is where it all began again.

“Musk’s influence and wealth cannot convert his lies into truth or protect him from accountability for his wrongdoing in a court of law,” Unsworth’s US attorney, L Lin Wood, stated.
