UPD October 4:
Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is not in the Portugal squad for this month’s internationals against Poland and Scotland. The former Real Madrid and Manchester United player was rested for Portugal’s internationals in September.
On Wednesday, the 33-year-old denied an allegation that he raped Kathryn Mayorga in 2009 in Las Vegas.
“I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me,” Ronaldo said. “Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in.”
UPD October 3:
- The lawyer of rape accuser, Kathryn Mayorga, has said the accusation is not “fake news”;
- The Sun published a footage showing the pair dancing together, Ronaldo leaning forward and squatting down in front of the ex-model.
The video released only by The Sun Online shows Ronaldo “grinding against then-model Kathryn Mayorga” at a Sin City nightclub in 2009. Watch the video on the official website of The Sun.
‘I’m usually a gentleman’
One more victim of sexual harassment broke her silence and accused famous football star Cristiano Ronaldo of raping.
Kathryn Mayorga, a 34-year-old teacher who was an aspiring model at the time of the alleged assault, claims Ronaldo raped her in a bathroom at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in the early hours of June 13, 2009.

Court papers claimed he attacked her even though she was screaming ‘No, no, no!’. Ronaldo said ‘sorry, I’m usually a gentleman’, according to court papers filed in Las Vegas which the star has branded ‘fake news’.
The lawsuit alleges that Ronaldo himself told his team of fixers that “she said ‘no’ and ‘stop’ several times.”

The ex-Manchester United, 33, player spoke out in a video on Instagram just hours after her lawyer filed court documents about the case. Grinning into the camera, he said: ‘No, no, no, no, no. What they said today? Fake, fake news.’
‘They want to promote [themselves by using] my name. It’s normal. They want to be famous to say my name, but it is part of the job. I am a happy man and all good.’
Kathryn Mayorga claims she received $375,000 in exchange for her silence. Now her lawsuit seeks to void the settlement and agreement.
Ronaldo’s representatives denied the rape allegations when German publication Der Spiegel first reported them in 2017. After the outlet broke news of the lawsuit Friday in an interview with Mayorga, Ronaldo’s lawyer called the reporting “blatantly illegal.”
