Try cooking several things in one baking tray with this tin foil hack.

If you need to cook several different foods at once, but want to minimize how many baking trays you’re using, try dividing it up with tin foil. Lay out the foil, and then create two or three mini areas by scrunching up the foil. You can then add a different food into each, with chicken in one and vegetables in another, for example. This helps to batch cook everything at once and minimizes the cleanup time after.

Start slow cooking everything.

The slow cooker is one of the secrets of good meal prepping. You can prepare all the ingredients, add them into a bag, and place them into the fridge over the weekend. When you’re ready, you can simply dump the contents into your slow cooker, set it to low, and forget about it for the day. When you return, you’ll be greeted to the wafts of delicious hot food ready to eat. You may be tempted to order food in Lahore with foodpanda, which is a great choice, but this is an alternative that’s just as quick.

Cook foods that are versatile.

Certain foods go well with everything. Something like a good salsa can be used in almost everything to make it taste delicious. You can add it to burritos, salads, or eat it with eggs in the morning. This makes one prep session add deliciousness to the next weeks’ worth of food.

Try to prep only one day of the week.

The whole point of meal prepping is to buy yourself time later on in the week. By taking a few hours to prepare all of your meals at the start of the week or the weekend, you should try to then use the extra time in the week to do something productive, or just relax!

Invest in a vacuum packer.

If you’re getting serious about your meal prep, then Tupperwares won’t be enough. As you start prepping more and more food, you’ll need an efficient way to store it. The best way we’ve found is to vacuum pack each meal into a bag, and then extract all of the air out of it. This will both help the food keep for longer, as well as limit the amount of space that the meal takes up in the freezer. Once you have your foods packaged up and sealed, you can simply grab them in the evening, and have them defrost overnight, ready to eat the next day.
