Facebook Has Quietly Been Storing Users’ Never-Posted Videos. What Else We Don’t Know, Mark?

New day, new problem

has been saving all the video we’ve taken but never posted. The bug was found when some of the users were uploading their data archive.

Fortunately, today they announced that all the videos would be deleted.

“We investigated a report that some people were seeing their old draft videos when they accessed their information from our Download Your Information tool. We discovered a bug that prevented draft videos from being deleted. We are deleting them and apologize for the inconvenience,” in a statement published by .

Previously, admitted the info was stored, but now they finally have an answer to why this happened. is blaming “bug” has caused it.

The content is promised to be deleted in the near future.
