The Curiosity rover has also detected methane in the Martian atmosphere. It turned out that the level of methane varies depending on the season – it increases in summer and decreases in winter. The concentration of gas in the atmosphere varies several times.

“We have greatly expanded our search for organic compounds, which is fundamental in the search for life,” said Paul Mahaffy, at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.

Facebook switched 14 million people’s post settings to public by mistake

From May 18 to May 22, a Facebook bug changed users’ new post to “public” regardless of their selected setting.

Facebook explained it this way:

“ We recently found a bug that automatically suggested posting publicly when some people were creating their Facebook posts,” wrote Facebook’s chief privacy officer Erin Egan. “We have fixed this issue and starting today we are letting everyone affected know and asking them to review any posts they made during that time. To be clear, this bug did not impact anything people had posted before – and they could still choose their audience just as they always have.”

For instance, you can “accidentally” bump into the adult videos featuring celebs such as Kim Kardashian, Ivanka Trump, Gal Gadot, Maisie Williams, Selena Gomez, Emma Watson and more.

Obviously, all these adult videos aren’t real, it’s just a software manipulation that can be created even by a kid. This software, FakeApp, was downloaded more than 200,000 times since its release.

Deep Video Portraits is a paper submitted at SIGGRAPH. It introduces an improved technique similar to FakeApp software for reproducing the motions, facial expressions, and speech movements of another person.
