Elon Musk Has Gone Too Far – Here’s How He Made $8 Million Selling Dangerous Weapon For Fun
Elon Musk has sold 17,500 Boring Company flamethrowers and people are concerned.
Here’s how Elon Musk turned into Evil Genius of 21st century.
What the heck is a flamethrower?
Seems that Elon Musk never jokes. Previously he ‘joked’ about Los Angeles’ tunnel to escape traffic jams, and the Boring Company was born. Then joked about sending Tesla Roster to Mars, and it appears that he’s actually going to go through with it.
Recently, Musk said the next Boring Company product would be a flamethrower. And, unfortunately, it wasn’t a joke as well.
Here’s how it looks.
Flamethrower is actually some kind of weapon that could be really dangerous if used in a wrong way.
Despite Musk considers it’s a ‘toy for fun’, many people, including Elon’s social media pages followers think it’s dangerous and inappropriate.
Many fans of inventor were disappointed how Musk is advertising this hazardous thing via his Instagram and Twitter account.
As usual, he draws even more attention to his latest “invention” using bitcoin hype and human’s inclination to wish for things that are forbidden.
But wait, there’s more: the flamethrower is sentient, its safe word is “cryptocurrency” and it comes with a free blockchain

As for today (Jan 31), Musk has sold 17.5k flamethrowers costing $500 per one. It means he just made $8,750 million.
Opposition
Still, there are some people who are trying to stop sales of Elon Musk’s flamethrower.
One California assemblyman wants to ban the sale of the $500 flamethrower, in the state of California at least. Democrat Miguel Santiago announced Monday he will introduce legislation.
“I honestly thought it was a joke when the article was read to me — while I was sitting in Los Angeles traffic,” Santiago said in a statement on Twitter.
“The State of California and the County and City of Los Angeles have entrusted Mr. Musk to help alleviate a real public policy problem here by executing a tunnel under the City to help alleviate traffic. This deviation feels like a slap in the face.”
If this is real, I’m outraged and you should be too. If this is a joke, then it’s a terribly insensitive one given that we’re coming off of the worst wildfire season in history. Either way: NOT FUNNY. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. pic.twitter.com/82n00um9Bf
