Taking to Twitter, many showed their shock and embarrassment through memes at the party leader’s performance.
One Twitter user compared her to a viral meme of a young girl bursting in on her dad’s BBC interview, while another said she “did a Peter Crouch”.
Sharing a meme of Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood, one joked: “I can only assume that the reason Theresa May is dancing so much recently is so that she has a shot at getting on Strictly in 2019 once she gets forced out.”
