For one week only starting from December 1, you’ll have a chance to watch James Cameron’s Titanic in the Dolby Vision version.

It was announced by Dolby Laboratories, Paramount Pictures, and AMC Theatres on Wednesday.

Online ticket sales are already available in 87 AMC theaters. The blockbuster, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet will be shown in 3D at 20 locations.

“We mastered a few minutes of ‘Titanic’ in Dolby Vision and I was stunned,” Cameron said. “It was like seeing it for the first time. Now that the entire film has been mastered, I’m excited to share it with audiences across the U.S.”

“This is beyond 3D, beyond 70mm, it’s beyond anything you’ve seen before,” he added. “The image leaps off the screen as bright and vibrant as life itself. This is the way all should be seen and without a doubt, ‘Titanic’ has NEVER looked better.”

Titanic was firstly released in 1997 and achieved unbelievable critical and commercial success. It was nominated for 14 Academy Awards and won 11, including the awards for Best Picture and Best Director for the most Oscars won by a single film.
