Brit Awards 2019: Red Carpet Looks, Winners, Memorable Moments Like Beyonce and Jay-Z ‘Bow Down’ to Meghan Markle + More
The 39th Brit Awards has gathered some of the music’s biggest stars at London’s O2 Arena and Nexter.org reports about the highlights of the night.
Highlights
On Wednesday, the Brit awards 2019 celebrated the most talented pioneers in the music industry.
Calvin Harris and The 1975 led the field with two wins each at the 2019 Brit Awards.
Anne-Marie and Dua Lipa lead the way with four nominations each, including nominations for best single.
And for only the second time in Brit Awards history, there are more women than men up for the night’s biggest prize, album of the year.
Hugh Jackman, Little Mix, Jess Glynne, George Ezra, The 1975 and Sam Smith were among the night’s performers.

As The Greatest Showman fever continues to buzz around the world, actor Hugh Jackman delighted viewers by opening the BRIT Awards 2019 with a spectacular performance of ‘The Greatest Show’ from the hugely popular movie.

Beyonce and Jay Z accepted their award for “Best International Group” on the night by sharing a video of themselves thanking the voters.
In the clip, the couple could be seen admiring a painted depiction of Meghan Markle, wearing regal attire, inspired by their 2018 video for their single, “Apeshit” which featured Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Mona Lisa artwork in the Louvre museum, Paris.

“Everything is love,” Beyonce said to camera before their eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, could be heard making noise in the background.
Jess Glynne’s removal of makeup
Jess Glynne removed her makeup during a powerful performance at the Brit awards 2019, much to the joy of her fans.
Towards the end of the awards show, the singer took to the stage with a legion of women to perform her hit single “Thursday” and two-time Grammy award winner H.E.R.
During the performance, Glynne – who wore a strapless white dress for the occasion – removed her fake eyelashes and wiped off her eye makeup while singing the lyrics “I won’t wear makeup on Thursday / ‘Cause who I am is enough”.
Fans of the British star said it was the most powerful performance.
P!nk showstopping closing performance
After a massive 15 years away from The BRITs, Outstanding Contribution to Music winner P!nk closed the show with a simply incredible performance! Delighting fans with a medley of her hit songs, P!nk was joined by Dan from Bastille to sing ‘Just Give Me A Reason’, before belting out hits such as ‘Try’ and ‘What About Us’.

Showing exactly why she’s one of the biggest performers in the world, P!nk’s performance was filled with flame throwers, water, trapeze stunts and incredible storytelling, which was later capped off with the singer showcasing her stunning vocals.
