“My old agent who is one of my dearest friends became the head of Universal. He called me and he said ‘Cher, you’re doing Mamma Mia!’ and he hung up,” Cher said.
Deadpool 2
Everybody was talking about Brad Pitt’s cameo for a long time and everybody wondered how much he was paid for it. And you’ll be surprised, but he got a little more than a cup of coffee.
“They decided on Pitt, who agreed to work for scale (the minimum amount of money designated by an actor’s guild) and a Starbucks coffee. “We got the coffee, Ryan [Reynolds] came in and gave it to him. It was hilarious because he kind of forgot that he asked for it.”

Wesley Snipes tried to bring the hero to the big screen for the first time back in the mid-90s.
“I think Black Panther spoke to me because he was noble, and he was the antithesis of the stereotypes presented and portrayed about Africans, African history, and the great kingdoms of Africa,” Snipes said.

Millicent Simmonds suggested saying “I have ALWAYS loved you” instead of just “I love you” and it made Krasinski cry.
“At the end when he signs, ‘I love you.’ I said I think he needs to say, ‘I have always loved you.’ Because that covers the difficult period. Then when I suggested that, he cried,” Simmonds said.

Thor’s epic entrance on the battlefield in Wakanda was supposed to be Captain America’s big reveal.
“Everybody at Marvel, I think other than Joe and I, were mad at us because we were bringing him in the movie so late,” co-director Anthony Russo said. “We thought it was the right spot to do it, but after a while we kind of gave into everybody’s, ‘We need more Cap!’”

Elsie Fisher got a Golden Globe nomination for Eighth Grade but after this, she didn’t get cast in a school play.
“She graduated 8th grade in real life, a week later we shot the movie, then a week after she went to her freshman year of high school and she didn’t get cast in her school play,” director Bo Burnham said. “So I promised her I’d do this: Mr. Donia from [Fisher’s] high school: F**k you.”

The “ugly” line during the argument scene was a pure Bradley Cooper improvisation, and it “devastated” Lady Gaga.
“That wasn’t an actor trying to get something out of another actor. That was two characters. What Jackson does to her at that moment is going to her most vulnerable place. That’s what she shared with him early on at the cop bar, so it’s part of their story,” Cooper said.
